Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Position Summary

Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Sales and Marketing Strategy, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for driving business growth by generating new manufacturer and dealer sales leads, nurturing prospects, and converting them into qualified sales opportunities for Rollick. This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills, a love for prospecting/hunting new accounts, a deep understanding of sales tactics, the discipline to track sales efforts for measurement purposes, and a strong pulse on the industries in which we serve.

Results To Be Generated

  • Conduct a minimum of 50-60 contact touch points a day (Calls, Email, Social) to hit demo targets.
  • Generate a minimum of 15 qualified dealer demos a month and a minimum of 4 OEM demos a month
  • Generate qualified leads that close to a sale at a to-be-determined conversion rate.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and cleanse targeted prospect lists across assigned verticals – RV, Powersports, Marine, Trailers, Industrial and Outdoor Power Equipment.
  • Develop and implement sales development tactics to identify, engage and qualify potential clients.
  • Conduct high-volume outreach utilizing various channels, including cold calling, email marketing, social media, and other sales tools to generate and nurture leads, spending roughly 50% of your time prospecting to OEMs and 50% to dealers
  • Utilize Salesforce to diligently track prospecting activity and ensure accurate and up-to-date information; specific responsibilities in this area include:
    • Creating and updating lead/contact records with relevant information such as demographics, contact details, and any actions taken during outreach
    • Logging all prospecting-related activities within Salesforce, such as phone calls, emails, meetings, and social media interactions
    • Documenting any notes, comments, or next steps related to prospecting activities; and
    • Creating and assigning tasks for follow-ups, nurturing activities, and reminders
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and improve lead generation tactics.
  • Assess and optimize the sales development process to maximize conversion rates.
  • Deliver regular reports and presentations to the sales leadership team regarding lead generation performance, pipeline status and conversion rates.
  • Represent Rollick at trade shows and industry events when needed.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Proficient in using Salesforce CRM.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as an SDR or a sales-related role at a marketing technology company.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices, with a keen understanding of lead generation and opportunity management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present ideas to clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while continually adapting to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and sales, to ensure alignment and maximize lead generation efforts.
  • Experience in the Powersports, RV, Marine, or Industrial Equipment industries a plus.
